The Musicians’ Union (MU) is calling on teachers and music managers to take part in its research into the current state of the UK’s music education.
Four surveys have been compiled to help collect the information needed. The information collected within these surveys will form the basis of a report to the MU. It will also be discussed at various national events, but the details of all individuals or organisations that complete the surveys will be kept private at all times.
Through these surveys the MU plans to diagnose and explore any issues challenging music education in the UK.
The four surveys cover classroom teachers, instrument teachers, headteachers and music managers.
If you work in any of these positions, visit the MU website to take part in the research.
