Impact Soundworks introduces Acoustic Revolutions 3 for Kontakt

Impact Soundworks has unveiled its new Acoustic Revolutions 3 offering – a Kontakt virtual instrument featuring an enormous collection of strummed acoustic guitar rhythms designed for modern songwriting and production.

With over 14,000 recordings included, the library contains over 10 times the content of both previous collections in the series combined.

Acoustic Revolutions 3 allows composers to easily perform acoustic guitar rhythms in any key, tempo, or scale. With the included Kontakt instrument’s intelligent chord detection, users can seamlessly blend between different phrases, loops, and endings to create an entire track in real-time.

The instrument also features built-in mix tools such as double-tracking, fret noise volume, analog-modeled EQ and a selection of custom impulse responses for natural reverb.

“With this library, it’s simpler than ever to create realistic acoustic guitar backing tracks, even if you don’t play guitar yourself,” said library producer Andrew Aversa.

“Just play or write the chords you want using standard MIDI and the instrument takes care of the rest. You can just as easily use it to build a song structure from scratch, or quickly add new guitar parts to an existing track!”

To accommodate a variety of songwriting workflows, Acoustic Revolutions 3 offers many ways to play the instrument. There are three separate fretting and two rhythm selection modes which the user can mix and match between. Every loop is also descriptively named and available in WAV format for use in other samplers or directly in the DAW.

Acoustic Revolutions 3 is available now as a digital download for $99, and owners of Impact Soundworks’ previous Acoustic Revolutions libraries will find a special crossgrade discount in their User Account.
