ABRSM has updated its Classical 100 free online learning resource, with offers up 100 pieces of music for use in teaching.
To help promote the initiative, ABRSM is inviting teachers to submit an idea for its 100th challenge.
The competition is open to all UK Primary schools, and the winner will receive a Yamaha Clavinova CLP-635R for their school.
“Classical 100 is about igniting enthusiasm for, and keeping children engaged in, music. This is really important for all of us and is part of ABRSM’s commitment to support and inspire achievement in music,” said Michael Elliott, Chief Executive of ABRSM.
ABRSM is looking for an ideal to support the music of Carl Orff’s ‘O Fortuna’ from Carmina Burana.
Teachers can enter the competition here. Entries must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 6th July 2018.
