Now in its 21st year, the UK’s longest established guitar show, the North West Guitar Show, returns to Haydock Park Racecourse Exhibition Centre on Sunday 20th May 2018.
Running from 10am to 4.30pm, the event is a unique opportunity to buy, sell and trade new, vintage and second-hand guitars, amps, effects and accessories.
The show will also feature live music all day (schedule to be announced), with the PA provided by Bose.
Building on record attendances and sales in 2017, this year’s show will be the biggest yet, with more than 100 dealers and exhibitors with products to sell in four large exhibition halls – making it the North of England’s biggest one day guitar show.
The event brings together major retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique specialists and even private collectors – all with bargains in everything guitar related.
It is a unique opportunity to buy, sell and trade new, vintage and second hand guitars, amps, effects and accessories and to be entertained by live music from top guitarists in the 400-seater live music hall.
This year’s line-up on the main stage includes:
– The sensational Aziz Ibrahim (ex Stone Roses, Simply Red) working with the Arts Council
– A celebration of guitar heroes with Guitar Godz band sponsored by Vintage Guitars and Fret-King Guitars
– Original classic rock band with a modern twist, Sister Rose, presented by Mad Dog Guitars and Sfarzo Strings
– A live performance demonstration of the the new Bose S1 Pro multi-position PA system, along with the all new T4S and T8S mixers
There will also be separate demo room displays and workshops.
The show is sponsored by: JHS, PMT, Musicians’ Union, Rimmers Music, Promenade Music, Sfarzo Strings, Reflex Print, The Guitar Magazine, MI Focus, Reverb and Mad Dog Guitars. PA is provided by Bose Ltd. Drums by British Drum Company.
Registration is open to any business with guitar-related products including retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors and dealers.

Licensed bar and refreshments available. Free parking. Public admission is £8 at the door and accompanied under 12s can attend for free.
