Hidersine and The String Zone to give away Veracini Violin with Thomastik Infeld Alphayue strings

Hidersine Orchestral and The String Zone have partnered up for a new competition, which will see one lucky winner receive a Veracini Finetune violin outfit fitted with a set of Thomastik Infeld Alphayue violin strings – worth a combined value of over £460.

The full size Hidersine Veracini violin outfit is suitable for advancing students upwards and is made to exacting specifications with a carved solid spruce table and figured maple back, neck and ribs.

It comes complete with Wittner Finetune pegs to make tuning easier, faster and more accurate. The internal gear mechanisms used on Finetune pegs ensure tuning never slips.

The outfit includes a fully mounted Brazilwood bow, hand-made Hidersine rosin and high-quality oblong padded case.

Thomastik Infeld Alphayue violin strings are designed specifically to aid the learning experience, promising to improve the sound of the most basic student instrument and offer “unrivalled longevity, stability and sound quality”. Their high-tech synthetic core delivers a rich, sophisticated sound palette impossible to achieve with steel core strings. The use of Monel, a natural alloy, ensures Alphayue strings are unaffected by temperature and humidity changes and therefore retain their power and sound quality longer.

Violin players have the chance to win by visiting the String Zone competition page.

The giveaway is free-to-enter and open to UK and Ireland entrants – it closes at 11:59pm (GMT) on Friday 20th April 2018.
