£11k PRS guitar stolen from Peach Guitars in Essex

Musical instrument retailer Peach Guitars has announced that an £11k PRS Private stock guitar has been stolen.

The shop caught the thieves, seemingly a couple, on CCTV picking up the guitar and hiding it underneath the woman’s coat before exiting the store in Essex.

The model is a PRS Private stock. It has a serial number of 238755, and the private stock number is 6315.

Peach Guitars is offering a £1,000 reward for information that leads to it’s safe return.

“Any re-sharing and extra awareness might help make it harder for them to sell it on,” said the retailer on its Facebook page. “It was taken off the wall so the certification and hard case are still with us, so be on the lookout.”

Peach Guitars has put together a video with information about the guitar, and CCTV footage of the thieves. You can watch it below, and if you have any information, called 01206 765 777.
