Pirate Studios highlights new British talent with Prodigy Programme

Pirate Studios has introduced a new talent programme designed to help launch the careers of three up-and-coming British acts.

AMI reports that the new Pirate Prodigy Programme will offer up the assistance of an industry team, made up of managers, agents, promoters, music publishers, PRs and radio executives.

The winners will be given one-to-one mentoring and masterclasses covering management, publishing and A&R to radio airplay, songwriting and PR.

The three chosen acts will also get unlimited free use of Pirate Studios’ rehearsal facilities, as well as studio time with professional engineers, free video production, branding, marketing advice and promotion across social media channels.

“We have 20,000 musicians in our community – a lot are producing amazing music,” said David Borrie, co-founder Pirate Studios.

“We find it incredible some of these guys aren’t already household names so we thought it would be awesome if we could be the ones to give them a helping hand.”

UK bands can submit their tracks at piratestudios.co.uk/prodigy. All entries will be transferred to SoundCloud for the public vote, and the final deadline for entries is 19th March.
